Global equities, bonds and foreign exchange markets are closed on Good Friday. Money rests on this day to commemorate the death of Jesus.
Think about this for a moment – He was only 33 years old with no more than 20 followers at the time of His death. If He’s not who He claims to be (the Son of God), why would the world care to take a day off from money worship?
Everyone needs to make a choice – either you serve God, or you serve money. You cannot serve two masters. (Matthew 6:24)
And by the way, if you haven’t yet noticed, money is a terrible master but a great servant.
Friends, choose life, life to the full that Jesus came to give us.(John 10:10)
